Sasori came home in a daze, nearly hoping that he would find Eien there. He didn't know why disappointment crashed over him when his son wasn't. After what Sasori had done, he doubted that Eien would ever come back.
"Sasori, what the hell is going on?" The Devil barely noticed Deidara going up to him, face still contorted his anxious worry. "Why did you guys leave, un?" Deidara reached for his hands, and Sasori only noticed that he still had Yoru's blood on him when Deidara pulled away suddenly. Deidara's face blanched and he stared at his hands before looking at Sasori's. "What is this, Sasori?"
By his tremulous tone, Sasori knew that Deidara could put together that none of it was good.
"Yoru got hurt," Sasori replied monotonously and even as Deidara flinched, he didn't comfort him. Sasori must have seemed lethal to him then, but Deidara still held his ground.
